TROVE is the new electronic pop project from songwriter and producer Drew Southwell. Born in Sydney, Australia and having recently split his time in the U.S.A, Drew’s previous success with other musical projects includes signing a distribution deal with Universal Music, touring Australia and America throughout and showcasing at large festivals such as SXSW, Vans Warped Tour, Sundance Film Festival and Triple J's Groovin The Moo.
TROVE is a creative outlet for Drew to experiment with different production ideas and songwriting concepts as well as collaborating with like minded musicians and songwriters. TROVE carries hypnotic synths with a rhythmic focus, sitting over catchy bass lines and beats. The simple melodies and atmospheric tones highlight his vocals, creating a captivating mood.
in the short time that TROVE has been active as an artist, he has released two features, How Long (Heroic Records), City Of Love (Sola Records) and 1 original single, Tie Dye Eyes (Casual Jam Records). He has also taken home the Grand Prize Win for the Nashville Film Festival Inaugural Songwriting Competition judged by Timbaland, EA Sports & ABC as well as writing and producing a song placed on major network TV show, Imposters (NBC). Collectively, TROVE has had over 1.7 million streams across platforms since the projects inception in April.
